Brandon Johnson has been skating for close to 10 years. Was picked by Steve as ‘one to watch’ Excited about the community, seeing everyone out, especially his little brothers.

Gizmo, been skating for 33 years, very stoked to see so many people out. Fave trick. “These days, just getting on the board”.

Kenny Gonzolez has been skating 4-5 yrs. He is the 1st place winner in the overall competition ages 11 and up. His  fave trick is the sex change.

Paul and Jango, members of the Clipmode squad. The brothers helped organize the event and are happy to see so many people come out. They say hi!

The Battle at the beach was put on by MC Steve Rodriguez. Steve has been skating and putting on skateboarding events since the mid-80s. Between 50-60 skaters competed in the day’s event.
