What is your favorite period in fashion?
The 70’s … Definitely! At that time, I was spending a lot of money on clothes and accessories. And I was very proud of my selection. (Laughs)
Is there one thing you ever regret wearing?
I have no regret in fashion. I was always wearing what I liked and I had no taboo.
If you had to choose one thing that never goes out of style, what would it be?
Probably a woman’s suit. Well fitted and with the right color, it always makes a good impression.
What is your favorite thing about your granddaughter?
Difficult question! I like everything about her but if I had to pick a few things I would say, physically, I like her eyes and hands and morally, I would say that I like her serenity.
Who inspires you the most?
In real life my husband. He was my everything. In style Gabrielle Chanel.
According to you, what area is changing the most nowadays?
Technology is moving so fast … I’m not really good at it but I can use my cellphone, my iPad and the GPS in my car. Not so bad for my age, right? (laughs)
What should everyone have in their closet at least?
A beautiful handbag and some nice mid-heel shoes.
Could you give us some advice about life?
The next generation needs to be as twice as brave than we had to and they also have to be strongly tolerant.
