LA-based rockers Holy Wars are set to release their debut album Mother Father on November 3rd, ahead of their release they have put out an enthralling, cinematic world for the album’s lead single “Back To Life”.
The band’s debut is a play on the fragility and strength of life. The whole album is dedicated to Holy Wars’ bad ass frontwoman Kat Leon, she tragically lost within months of each other in 2015. Holy Wars was a solace for her as the band re-emerged, altered by her darkest days.
The “Back To Life” video is a David Lynch-inspired fete peppered with turmoil and the surreal fragility of nature and the other world. Kat lays in her coffin on a journey through various stages of grief that she takes the viewer on until it’s all over.
