Director/  Shelby Duncan

LA-based, Nordic indie pop musician and visual artist Majken released her debut album Dancing Mountains, earlier this month, and today we’re premiering another iteration of her ethereal creativity, a short film by the name of, “Dear You.” In the film, Majken shares a monologue dubbed over scenes of her skipping around a well-lit cemetery in a white dress and shots of colorful houses and palm trees lining a southern California street. The muted hues and vintage style of the film are accented with a soundtrack song by Majken and featuring Max Sokolinski.

Majken shared the theme behind the short film with LADYGUNN saying, “Dear You” is about falling in love with life again. It’s about loss, dancing mountains, the owls singing loud, restless nights, the little moments in between that define who you are and brings you to back to life. It’s a dreamy heartbreak on a crazy journey.”
