It’s been quite a while since we last heard from electro-pop singer Owlle. She caught major buzz back in late 2012 with the breakout tune “Disorder,” and then again in 2013 with her addictive, catchy follow-up, “Ticky Ticky” (and its handful of remixes).
Well, that yearlong (or so) absence has been well spent it seems, as the French chanteuse has just released her full-length debut album, aptly-titled ‘FRANCE’; which, by the way, just so happens to be Owlle’s real name as well. The album has been well received since its release in Europe, with some critics praising it as one of the year’s best.
Leading the album is the phenomenal single “Don’t Lose It,” a brooding dance number that shares the same emotional sentiment as some of Robyn’s best dance anthems, with a sonic touch of La Roux’s 80’s tinged synth-pop coolness. “But I tell you, don’t want to lose it; I tell you, don’t want to prove it; let’s start with zero” Owlle whispers above the euphoric beats of the mesmerizing chorus.

In the recently released video for the single, directed by Sailor Lvne, the stunning redhead appears behind a backdrop of intricate moving frames as a kaleidoscopic display of red and purple lights gracefully accentuate the singer’s gold painted face.
“Don’t Lose It” is being release as an EP, bundled with stellar remixes by Saint Pepsi, Pyramid and French techno wizard Maelstrom.
