Just at the tale end of Halloween, when you’re still sorting through your “good” candy vs. your “bad” candy, electro-pop singer songstress Colson brings us a tasty-pop track with the synthy-sweetness that’ll make your heart sing right along with her, “Eating Gummy Bears for dinner.”
Her newest track, “Gummy Bears,” is a relatable tune about just wanting to do “real” things with the one you love. Colson says of the song, “I wrote ‘Gummy Bears’ from a very real experience. I was at a point in a relationship where the person was trying to impress me, when I really didn’t want anything but to spend time together.”
The track makes the subject seem a little lighter than how it may have felt in real life, and Colson’s voice adds a sultry lean to a tune that’s both salty n’ sweet. With those delicious vocals laid over some super stellar pop production, this song definitely has the recipe to become a stuck-on-repeat piece of ear candy.
