Five and a half years ago, Nashville-based, Florida raised songstress Whissell moved to Nashville, TN to chase a dollar and a dream from her home-state of Florida. Fast forward to today and she is making music that has ears worldwide addicted to her slick soothing tunes!
Today we premiere ‘Quicksand’ and within the first ten seconds, Whissell’s vocals will encapsulate your whole body. She knows how to draw an audience in. The song gives an old school Carrie Underwood vibe due to how she maneuvers her voice to use as an instrument. With the powerful production laced with confrontational lyrics, you can’t help but tap your foot and throw a glass bottle. It’s been a while since we’ve been able to churn to a great song with an exceptional singer. It’s going to be amazing to see Whissell grow!
