Electro-pop-blood-brothers THRILLERS premiere the music video for their sizzling retro track, “Heat.” The band says of the song, “We entered the studio with Back Talk not knowing what to expect, except something great. Once the writing began, we became inspired to write our modern take on a classic disco-rock song. The lyrical content was designed to pay homage to the classic disco songs of the past. The song is about the “heat” and passion you feel when you lock in with someone on the dance floor. The feeling may only last for one song, but it’s something you will never forget. The inspiration for the video was the mood of the song, dark yet upbeat. Drenched in red light, we wanted to convey feelings of passion and restraint– a literal interpretation of the feelings you may experience listening to this song on a dance floor swaying in rhythm with a certain someone.”
“Heat” is the lead track on THRILLERS’ debut full-length album Break Free, which drops April 28th.
