BODINE UNLEASHES NEW SINGLE “TU MUJER”:

A SEDUCTIVE JOURNEY INTO SENSUALITY & FRAGILITY

Multifaceted Puerto Rican artist Bodine has just dropped a sensual new single, “Tu Mujer,”. The sultry Latina songstress hypnotizes you with her vocals and lyrics. Singing “Everyone has secrets, and here I leave you some breadcrumbs of mine,”. Produced  by Latin GRAMMY winner XAY—known for his work with powerhouses like Eladio Carrion, Bad Bunny, and Rauw Alejandro—dives deep into the tantalizing duality of sensuality and fragility.

Accompanying the sound is a tantalizing visual that lures you into Bodine’s sanctuary. The  music video for “Tu Mujer,” directed by  Ruslan Pelykh, was shot under Miami’s night sky. Making this visual a multi-sensory feast. With the tea this hot not sure it will be a secret for too much longer!

Can you share what inspired this theme and how it resonates with your personal experiences?
The beat was fire from the beginning, so it inspired me to write something fun and sexy. To show the two sides of a woman. I ended up creating a fantasy through the lyrics, but I still wanted to make it feel where the woman is in control and make them feel powerful.

How did this collaboration come about, and what was the creative process like?
All my records are produced by XAY and BLVCK95, they’re my music family. XAY has been my producer and a great friend since day one, I’m talking back to 2019. He’s been there since day 1.
Can you tell us more about the concept behind the video and the significance of the bunny imagery?
I think no matter how sexy and sensual you can be, there is always vulnerability in it. I wanted to visually bring an element that represents that vulnerability and what is better than a bunny? It has its innocence, but still we all know how active they can be.
What inspired you to host a class teaching it at Miami Pole, and how did your fans respond to this intimate experience?
We had the best time ever, I invited so many incredible people to join us at Miami Pole! Mitya, my choreographer, connected with my music so we started working on different types of movement, including on a pole, which you can see in the music video.
How do you balance your roles as a singer-songwriter, composer, and pianist while maintaining your unique sound and
vision?
I thank my mom everyday for giving me such a great foundation, the classics are the essence of my creations. When it comes to finding my own sound, I locked myself away for 2 years with XAY and BLVCK95 without releasing or collaborating with anyone else, just focusing on finding our sound. Now we feel that we have found it, and that’s what we’re putting out into the world.

What message do you hope your fans take away from your music and performances?
I want my fans to enjoy this moment with me, I think it’s the first time that I decided not to overthink and just enjoy the process. That’s my ultimate goal, to have fun with my music, and I hope they do too.

Bodine continues to push boundaries and captivate the music scene. She is set to headline the Juguito China showcase in San Juan, Puerto Rico, on July 23rd. She will share the stage with other rising Caribbean talents like Bebo Dumont, Moffa, J Noa, and Letón Pé. Adding to the excitement, Bodine will make her festival debut at III Points this October in Miami, promising an unforgettable performance.
