I’ve never committed to one, I reinvent my look too often to have a singular alter ego. When I get dressed up I’m Dylan with a new twist.
where do u go?
I go everywhere that makes me happy. I enjoy activities with loved ones so the location can vary from nightclub or restaurant to the beach or park.
what is love?
Love is undying affection, support, intimacy, and a response to extreme happiness. It’s defined by the context in which we express it. I love a lot of things and people but the extent of my love and how I perform that is predicated on the relationship. I love my family, friends, career, and mundane parts of life in very different ways.
what fashion means for you?
Fashion is how I express myself. It can serve as a form of communication and display of heritage/identity. When we remove the negative, oppressive parts of fashion (prevalent in any capitalist-driven industry), it’s the midpoint between accessible art, innovation, lifestyle and artistic expression; playing a vital part in how we idealize individuality in a world where it’s encouraged that everybody looks the same.
what are you dreaming about?
I dream about having the resources to make whatever I want to make, accomplish everything I’ve ever wanted, create material change within my profession and help create more opportunities for people who don’t have the means to reach their full potential, be able to support my family and give back to society, and eventually(within the decade) start a happy family.
