Raised by two classical musicians in Montreal, Genevieve Ryan Martel (aka RYAN Playground) began creating her own compositions with her guitar and drums from an early age. By the time she was a teenager, Genevieve sound was a dizzying good roller coaster of electronic waves and strong song writing abilities.
“Every time I make a song I’m just throwing out emotions,” she has said before, “It’s always very personal.”
With “Empty Pool” the sonic ride is smoother than ever with just the right amount of lo-fi to lull your troubles away.
