Anna Bloda is one of the most fearless, sexy, talented badass babes we know. Her photography is raw, energetic and is the type of work that pumps through the veins of NYC. Capturing everything from fashion to kids on the street she is constantly at the forefront of the underground, her images and lifestyle are documenting the “now” of today.
In Bloda‘s Choice she presents the people, places and things she wants LADYGUNN to know about.
Today is Instagram and life muse, Remi Lewis.
whats your alter ego?
I feel like when I think of an alter ego it makes me think about the personality I portray on social media vs. the person I am to my friends and family. It’s easy to post a picture and for people to see it and think you’re a certain way or live a certain life. I’d say my alter ego is low key myself.
where do u go?
I love traveling. I go to England a lot because that’s where I’m from. I love going to LA and anywhere with a nice beach and warm weather. I’ve never loved anything more than traveling- I think it just stems from me always being such an adventurous kid but also being given the opportunities to travel so much helped, too. Other then that living in NYC literally allows me to go and do whatever I want.
what is love?
To me love isn’t any one thing. It’s a million of things and it doesn’t conform to any standards. I feel like love can bring the best and worst pain in your life. When it’s goes wrong it can literally just consume your every thought and make you little. When it’s right it can make you feel like nothing else matters. It’s really powerful.
what does fashion mean to you?
Fashion to me really stems from just wearing whatever the fuck you want. I was always like that my whole life and I stood out a bit in high school for it. It’s literally okay to wear whatever you want- just wear it with confidence. Individuality is cool and sometimes rare.
what are you dreaming about?
I’m constantly and have never stopped dreaming about music. I love listening, creating, and performing music. I have a lot of goals and expectations that I’ve set for myself. I dream of many things for myself just as anyone else does. Money, happiness, love and all that- but I do really dream for an America where minorities are treated as equals and for a change in the system as a whole.
