Throughout the Coachella weekend, we were onsite an had the privilege of trying some of the best food and drink options that Coachella 2023 had to offer! We cannot wait to share them with you. Take a quick look below at our favorite food and drink destinations!
Farmhouse Kitchen
We are beyond thrilled to share my glowing review of Farmhouse Kitchen, particularly their absolutely delicious Tofu Pad Thai. While we are not vegetarian, we recognize that some festival-goers have trouble finding options that cater to their dietary needs, and what highlight the delicious entree that Farmhouse Kitchen provided.
First and foremost, the Tofu in the Pad Thai was cooked to perfection, with a crispy exterior and a melt-in-your-mouth texture. The noodles were perfectly cooked and coated in a flavorful sauce that perfectly balanced sweet, sour, and a little kick of spice and the vegetables added a delightful crunch and freshness to the dish.
What really stood out to us was the complexity of the flavors. The dish was bursting with aromatic herbs and spices, which added a depth of flavor that had me savoring every bite. The bean sprouts provided a lovely texture, and the lime wedge on the side added a touch of acidity that brightened up the entire dish.
We also had the opportunity to try the refreshing coconut water that was truly out of this world! It was the perfect way to quench our thirst on the hot Coachella day. It has a light, slightly sweet taste that is unlike anything else.
Overall, I would highly recommend the tofu Pad Thai at Farmhouse Kitchen to anyone looking for a vegetarian-friendly, flavorful, and satisfying meal. The balance of flavors and textures was truly outstanding, and I couldn’t wait to return to this restaurant to try more of their delicious dishes.

Immediately from the first bite, I could tell that this was no normal margarita pizza; this was something special. The crust was perfectly crispy on the outside, yet soft and chewy on the inside. Its mozzarella cheese was perfectly gooey and melted to perfection, and the sauce was bursting with flavor, balancing the tang, sweetness, and saltiness that a perfect pizza sauce should have. The fresh basil included on the pizza added not only a color pop but a delicious burst of freshness. We highly recommend that you stop at this food booth the next time it hits Coachella Valley. They are also based in Los Angeles so you can come and visit them at their LA restaurant anytime!
Acai Bar Cafe
If you’re looking for a restaurant that serves delicious, healthy, and refreshing food at Coachella then we have found the place for you! Look no further than Acai Bar. This place is a hidden gem, and I cannot recommend it enough.
The smoothies are simply amazing. Each smoothie is made with fresh, organic ingredients, that leave you refreshed immediately after they hit your tastebuds. They are the perfect blend of sweet and refreshing, and they’re a great way to start your day or refuel from the hot Coachella Valley sun.
Now, the Acai bowls are just as delicious, they are made with the freshest Acai berries and are topped with a variety of fresh fruits, nuts, and other toppings, making them not only healthy but also incredibly delicious. Not to mention that the menu Acai Bar is full of other healthy, delicious options. They have a variety of options for anyone looking to eat clean and stay healthy.
In addition to the amazing food, the staff at Acai Bar Cafe is incredibly friendly and welcoming. They make you feel right at home, and they’re always happy to answer any questions you might have about the menu or the ingredients. We love Acai Bar and need to tell you that you MUST give them a visit for the perfect festival snack!
Guayakí Yerba Mate
Guayakí Yerba Mate, recently announced the launch of Peach Revival, a new flavor inspired by customers’ affinity toward the refreshing flavor of peach, fans can enjoy the yerba mate drink they love, with low sugar and full caffeine. Peach Revival will join the brand’s popular High Energy Cans and features an infusion of peach with a delicate sweetness and a hint of floral undertones. Each can of Yerba contains 150mg of caffeine from yerba mate.
Based in Sebastopol and Venice, California, Guayakí [Gwy-uh-key] is the leader in yerba mate beverages. Guayakí’s business model aims to preserve the forests where mate grows and support the communities that have cultivated it for generations. That’s why Guayakí sources fair-trade and organic mate from smallholder and Indigenous producers who harvest mate from trees grown in the shade of the rainforest. Guayakí works with its producers to certify mates according to regenerative standards and invest in social and environmental projects identified by producer communities.
New School Grilled Cheese
Another one of our favorite destinations at Coachella was New School Grilled Cheese! If you’re looking for a grilled cheese sandwich that will blow your mind, we found it: The Avocado Tomato Grilled Cheese from New School. This sandwich is an absolute game-changer and one of the best-grilled cheese sandwiches I have ever had.
The bread is perfectly toasted and crispy on the outside, with almost a garlicky flavor! The cheese is melted to perfection, but what really sets this sandwich apart is the addition of fresh avocado and tomato. The avocado is perfectly ripe and adds a creamy, buttery texture to the sandwich, while the tomato provides a bright, fresh burst of flavor.
Every bite of this sandwich was pure heaven. The combination of the crispy bread, melted cheese, creamy avocado, and juicy tomato is simply irresistible. And the portion size is just right– it’s filling without being overwhelming. New School Grilled Cheese is a MUST-have festival meal.
MANEATINGPLANT
Our all-time food destination was MANEATINGPLANT. My words fail to do this brilliant, progressive, and environmentally friendly food booth. Not to mention the staff at MANEATINGPLANT were some of the friendliest and helpful staff we have every come across at a festival.
But of course, the real star of the show at MANEATINGPLANT is the food. Every dish is crafted with care and attention to detail, and the flavors are simply incredible. From the delicious garlic noodles to the mushroom dumplings, each bite is a taste sensation that you won’t soon forget.
The menu is full of plant-based delights that will satisfy even the most dedicated carnivore. The chefs at MANEATINGPLANT are masters of their craft, and they’ve created a menu that’s both healthy and delicious. You’ll leave feeling satisfied and nourished ready to take on the rest of the Coachella Festival!
