Last weekend, Manhattan nightlife personality Evan Kline hosted his fourth annual Klinetime Pride, an event that has become a highly anticipated moment on the city’s Pride social calendar. This year’s celebration coincided with a fundraiser for New York’s LGBT Center, adding a philanthropic touch to the vibrant festivities.
Within the clamor of midtown, guests found respite through the velvet curtains in the hidden sanctuary of David Rabin and Hospitality Department’s new cocktail bar, Bronze Owl. Uptown socialites mingled with the downtown scene as sounds of disco music filled the air, curated by The Muses. Evan Kline dazzled in a custom Mayyur Girotra blazer, straight from Girotra’s Ride to Pride show at Rockefeller Center, where Kline made his runway debut just a few weeks prior. Adding to the evening’s charm, Chef Franklin Becker of Bronze Owl created a custom-made rainbow birthday cake, embodying the spirit of both the birthday and Pride celebrations.
The era of multiple acts continued as Kline kept the festivities going with a scene change. Guests made their way to Hell’s Kitchen for It’s HIM Bar, a chic newly opened venue with creative direction by Broadway actor and producer Roberto Morean. Electrifying DJ sets from STILETTO, who recently made their Horsemeat Disco debut, and DJ P_A_T, who headlined Space Miami for Madonna’s Celebration Tour afterparty, kept the party going for the packed-out venue.
As the celebrations continued into the night, it was clear that Evan Kline’s 4th Annual Klinetime Pride had once again succeeded in its mission. The event not only celebrated Pride and Kline’s birthday but also brought together a community in support of the LGBT Center, showcasing the power of unity, celebration, and philanthropy.
