First Look: Sasu Kauppi Fall / Winter 14

story / Sydney Scott

The Sasu Kauppi Fall/Winter 2014 lookbook is here and the Finnish label has created a collection just as good as the last.

The Sequel, the brand’s latest offering, combines the labels signature spontaneity and raw aesthetic with a technological insect invasion. USB creepy crawlies, screw tipped butterflies and frayed wire beetles cover tees and skirted pants. Their frayed denim reappears this season as well as carefully crafted jackets and pants.
Truly, it’s hard to pick a standout piece. At the top of the list would have to be the capless plexiglass wide brim hat and clear sleeve denim jacket, two pieces that are definitely destined to be bestsellers.
So, without further ado, here’s a glimpse at Sasu Kauppi’s new collection.
