This NYFW, Ladygunn teamed up with legendary footwear brand Steve Madden to curate a collection of #NYFW style diaries. We teamed up with a handful of our favorite influencers, sent them to some of our favorite fashion shows in cute new shoes and asked them to walk us through their experience. Here is the fifth of the series – check out the rest here.

“New York Fashion Week is officially over, but I can’t stop thinking about the amazing Concept Korea runway show that I got to attend this season. Concept Korea is a global project that publicizes Korea’s fashion culture throughout the world and is the supporting bridge for domestic Korean designers to break into overseas markets. This season showcased Kaal Eisuktae by Suk-tae Lee and Jarret by Ji-youn Lee. These two women’s wear designers both presented amazing collections and I am again reminded by how much I love and admire Korean fashion and style.”

“I branched out of my usual black and white wardrobe and wore color. Still kept it minimal by wearing solid colors and accessorized with a black Stella McCartney bag and black Steve Madden heels.”
“My number one go-to pair of heels for any occasion. The Steve Madden STECY heels. Comfort without sacrificing style.”
“Kaal Eisuktae kicked off the show and I was lucky to capture this cool silhouette snap.”
“I loved the structure and tailoring of the clothing pieces by Kaal Eisuktae. The collection is very modern and practical. I would wear each and every outfit here myself.”
“Next up was Jarret. His SS16 collection was on point. Especially loved this look – again, style with substance! Wish I could’ve gotten a picture of the front.”
“Jarret’s collection consisted of colors ranging from white, black, pastel blue and royal blue. Flawless.”
“Jarret closing the show. I loved the detailed print and sheer fabrics on some of his pieces.”
“While waiting for the show to start. Please excuse my dead facial expression. I swear I was happy and excited! Who smiles for selfies anyway? *jokes*”
