#NYFW Diary | Tiffany Tso @ Chromat SS16

This NYFW, Ladygunn teamed up with legendary footwear brand Steve Madden to curate a collection of #NYFW style diaries. We teamed up with a handful of our favorite influencers, sent them to some of our favorite fashion shows in cute new shoes and asked them to walk us through their experience. Here is the third of the series – check out the rest here.

Tiffany Diane Tso, our Arts & Culture Editor, doubles her time working for gif-creation app PHHHOTO, hence the gif-heavy show coverage. Though you’ll have better luck finding her on PHHHOTO, you can always try her Instagram.
“Chromat is always #1 on my priority list each #NYFW. SS16 was no different. I strapped on my Chromat bralette, easily my most stylish piece, and my new favorite heels, CARSSON heels by Steve Madden, and taxied to Milk Studios only to be one of the earliest arrivers. Oops, #thirsty. The entire audience seemed to have their collective breath held as they waited to see what the now notorious high-tech, experimental fashion line had in store. I have had the privilege to see Becca McCharen’s line grow from gridded dresses and lingerie to forward-thinking swimwear and activewear to intelligent design. The Chromat SS16: MOMENTUM collection represented all the aforementioned and featured two collaborative wears, powered by Intel® Curie™ Modules, for clothing that responds to the wearer’s body and environment: the Aeros Sports Bra, which reacts to perspiration, respiration and body heat, and the Adrenaline Dress, with a reactive fight-or-flight carbon fiber frame. Luckily, I had a great view of the garments.”
