The Time Is Now with The Struts

The Struts and Fossil’s exclusive imprint series aptly named Misfit have teamed up for an Artist Series collaboration. The limited-run box set is inspired by lead singer Luke Spiller’s take on the classic pocket watch with the sort of exquisite rock and roll flair that makes you feel like The Time Is Now. The timepiece and boxset serve as a bold fashion explosion of the rock outfit’s music and bold influence. The box includes a pocket watch and necklace chain with a crystal-embellished Daddy Cat pendant aka the larger-than-life persona Spiller embraces onstage. This is the first timepiece release in Misfit’s ongoing collaboration celebrating The Struts’ music.

Spiller says of the collection “Designing this watch was like writing a song or making a piece of art,” he notes. “I found myself inserting small details that were reflective of things I admire everywhere to create something new that I would personally love and wear. Function and versatility with the leather strap, sophistication, and class with a timeless pocket watch— it’s peppered with rock-and-roll details. The watch truly captures who I am as a creator.”

The new set comes right on top of the new EP for the band. Released on Friday (2/24), Unplugged at EastWest sees the rocking quartet partnering with Taylor Guitars for a live album and video footage that showcase the group in peak performance mode.
