If walls could talk, the Chelsea Hotel’s would sing songs, recite poetry, and tell tales of rebellion, creativity, and tragedy that shaped much of 20th-century art and culture. The hotel has housed creatives like Andy Warhol, Robert Mapplethorpe, Pattie Smith, Janis Joplin, Bob Dylan and the most infamous Sid Vicious of the Sex Pistols and Nancy Spungen to living icon Susanne Bartsch. This editorial is our love letter to those who have called this legendary landmark a safe space for artistic expression.
