Meet Fabiana Love – Model, Muse and performance artist seen at some of NYC’s most highbrow events.

If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

I’d probably say tamales, or any dishes I grew up eating

What would you sing at Karaoke night?

Honestly, this is a hard one because it depends if I’m in my Sad Girl mood or my bad bitch mood, but gun to my head I’d pick “say you’ll be there” Spice girls

If you could choose to do anything for a day, what would it be?

I often forget to take time for myself, so I’d say a day with just my girls of pampering ourselves, getting our nails done and getting our hair done and just having the space to share things that we normally wouldn’t feel brave enough to talk about.

What was the last concert you went to? What did you think?

Beyoncé, do I really need to say what I thought?! 💜

What makes you laugh the most?

My trauma, no, but honestly sometimes looking at how hard I can be on myself at times, and I find it much easier to laugh through the pain, and not dwelling in it. i get to be myself without reservations. That’s what makes me laugh the most.

Whats your mantra?

I am my greatest limitation, and I am limited to what I manifest for myself.

What is your favorite thing about your job?

My favorite part about being a trans performer is getting to talk to people afterwards and them telling me how it inspired them or how it moved them to be honest with themselves and the people in their lives. Nothing is more rewarding, than getting off the stage, feeling incredible about what you did only to be reassured that someone else walked away feeling inspired to live their truth.

Whats your favorite holiday memory?

I think recently I’ve been creating better memories. last year for Christmas My mom and sister came to visit me and we walked down fifth Avenue and looked at all the displays and ordered food and just watched movies

If you could live anywhere where would it be?

I live in the greatest city in the world. Why would I wanna live anywhere else? If you make it here, you make it anywhere.

When have you been most satisfied in your life?

I don’t know if I’ll ever be satisfied in life, but that’s also not a bad thing. the day I become comfortable is the day I stop trying to be the best version of myself

What’s your superpower, or what’s your spirit animal?

I’m an empath, and I’m great at reading people and seeing when they need help or just someone to check in on them, but it’s also my kryptonite because I can have a terrible mood from someone else’s energy shift in a space

What would be your dream project or collaboration?

There are too many things and dreams in my head to pick just one. But to quote the late and great Octavia Saint Laurent “ I want my name to be a household product”

If you could only have one app on your phone, what would it be?

FaceTime, I hate texting! Mostly because I can’t spell to save my ass, but also I just enjoy looking at somebody when I’m talking to them.

What is the most significant lesson you’ve learned throughout your life and or work so far?

Stop worrying about what you could’ve done because there’s always time. Others opinions do not limit your capabilities. Only we determine what our limitations are.
