Bryce Bowyn‘s long-awaited debut EP, “Siege”, is a compilation of five powerful pop songs that showcase his talent, creativity, and authenticity.
The polished yet raw sound, influenced by pop, rock, dance, and electronica, takes listeners on a journey through bold rhythms, introspective lyrics, and catchy choruses, solidifying Bowyn’s place as an emerging talent in the contemporary pop and electronic music scene.
The EP’s focus track, “Easy”, is a perfect combination of pop, hard-hitting electronic production rhythms, and an infectious chorus that make it an unforgettable dance anthem.
“Barbican” is a powerful and infectious track, featuring an expansive sound that evokes a sense of epic battles, towering walls, and legendary knights. “Wicked Wings”, on the other hand, boasts a beat that’s irreverent and playful—a track made to light up any night out.
Both “Barbican” and “Wicked Wings” are songs that have already received praise from GLAAD, Atwood, and MUNDANE magazine and further demonstrate Bowyn’s ability to fuse storytelling with electric energy.
“Take Cover” and “Won’t Let Me Down” round out the collection on Siege, which, together, not only offers a musically compelling experience but also serves as a personal reflection of Bowyn’s journey.
His journey of self-expression is evident in the introspective lyrics and dynamic arrangements, which give voice to themes of resilience, empowerment, and identity.
As well as being a prominent rising pop artist, Bowyn is a dedicated advocate for LGBTQ+ rights and mental health. His actions have an impact that extends beyond his music. His presence at DC Gay Pride and support from the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities demonstrate his commitment to helping his community through art and advocacy.
