Rising R&B artist Saleka performed recently at The Rockwood in NYC on October 14 in front of a packed crowd. The new singer is cementing herself as one to watch going into 2022, having written a song, “Remain” for the hit film Old, as well as performed at festivals like Austin City Limits. This year, she also released “The Sky Cries,” which was part of her father, M Night Shyamalan’s, Apple TV+ series Servant. Most recently, she released a moving protest song called “How Many” in response to the systemic racism and oppression faced by people throughout America.
