LA-based alt-pop group Machineheart premieres “Shelter,” an entrancing track which emphasizes the refuge that can often be found within intense intimacy. “I saw Shelter in my head in pictures before I ever had the words,” says lead singer Stevie Scott. “It’s that place where you and another person have all your secrets and hidden pieces that you’ve shown each other and even in the middle of chaos, you make sure to hold onto that intimacy and vulnerability. Sometimes it feels like that’s the only thing I have that gets me through – remembering who you are with someone else rather than who other people say you are. It’s my safe haven.”
Catch Machineheart tomorrow, May 4th at The Rave in Milwaukee, and on Saturday, May 6th at Old National Centre in Indianapolis with LANY!
